# What is a Recurring Donation?

A recurring donation is a continuous, ongoing contribution made to a chosen campaign or cause instead of a one-time donation. Donors who opt for recurring donations commit to giving regularly, whether it’s monthly, quarterly, or on another predefined schedule.

These recurring contributions are manageable through the donor’s Profile > My Donations > Recurring section. From there, donors can oversee and manage their recurring donation details, including donation schedules and cancelling.

Choosing a recurring donation demonstrates long-term support for a cause, providing sustained assistance to campaigns and initiatives over time.
