- You get the funds: Whatever amount is raised is paid out to your nominated beneficiary (either to you, your beneficiary, a charity, or a service provider), even if you don’t reach your full goal, at your request.
- The campaign stays live: Your campaign can continue receiving donations unless you manually close it.
- No penalties: There are no penalties or fees for not reaching your target (aside from the standard platform and payment processing fees).
- Transparency: It’s recommended that you update your donors if you fall short of your goal, and how you plan to use the partial funds.
Similarly, we don’t “cap” your donations. If you reach your fundraising target, your campaign will still be able to receive further donations, unless you close it manually.
