What happened next blew Dale’s family away. Within just 24 hours of launching the campaign on July 8, 2026, an outpouring of support from family, hockey enthusiasts, and generous strangers pushed the fundraiser past its initial target. Even when minor fee adjustments were made as tour details were finalized, donations kept coming.
By July 10, 2026—less than two days after launching—the campaign officially reached 100% of its fundraising target!
